Label TextIn Untitled, a work of the 1960s, he revisits De Stijl's geometric organization. The square format, turned and poised on its corner to create a diamond composition, relates to works by the De Stijl artist Piet Mondrian. Balance is achieved through the De Stijl principle of "dynamic equilibrium" in which unequal elements are placed to create an asymmetrical, yet harmonious relationship.
