Label TextJewelry in beautiful colors was a recurring feature in Middle Kingdom burials. The beaded broad collar with the falcon terminals was specified as part of the funerary equipment needed by the deceased in the coffin texts. The association with the god Horus undoubtedly gave this piece of jewelry magical healing qualities.
