Label TextOn the eastern side of the forecourt an elaborate colonnade screens a series of doorways opening into small chambers. Early travelers, like Edward Lear, often camped out within the temple precincts. A room on the roof of the temple in which the burial and resurrection of Osiris is depicted was especially favored.
