Label TextKnown as Kaftari ware, after the site where many examples were discovered, these vessels featured decoration with dark painted plump water birds and dense bands of geometric motifs. The spread of this distinctive decoration throughout southwest and southern Iran indicates the extent of Elamite influence in the region during the 2nd Millennium B.C.
