Label TextThe cup is formed of a shallow dish with a broad flat rim and a tall circular stand. The exterior and rim of the cup with bands of stamped and incised tongues and concentric circles; the interior with stamped trefoils formed of circles and tongues; the tondo with a stamped rosette of circles and tongues. The stand with an ivy wreath circling the stem, and a double border of incised tongues and dots around the foot. All with added red and white paint.

The form and decoration of this cup is typical of a class of vessels produced in the town of Teanum Sidicinum in northern Campania during the late 4th and early 3rd centuries B.C.
