He was associated with two other photographers, Klary and Kneubuhler, but the studio remained known as either Benque, Benque and Co., or Benque et Klary until it was taken over by Matuszewski around 1900.
2026 update: per Wikidata, Benque &amp; Co was a partnership of Wilhelm Benque and Franz Benque.
