Label TextThis fragmented female head preserves only the face (from the eyes down) and the neck. The back and top of the head are missing. The head is inclined slightly left. The eyes are prominently outlined with rounded lids and the lips slightly parted. Likely carved for insertion into a separately-made body. An iron rod inserted into the neck has caused marked iron-oxide discoloration to back of head.
