ProvenanceProbably acquired between 1928-1929 via Margaret E. Ashley representing Emory University in Etowah excavations by Warren K. Moorehead of the Phillips Academy. According to the Phillips Academy catalog ledger, this piece was excavated by Warren K. Moorehead in 1925, "Child's grave, village site, near Mound C."
