Label TextThe iconography of this figure, with its pointed upturned footwear, long-skirted fringed garb, shoulder-length curled hair, and close-fitting cap reflects a North Syrian / No-Hittite style more commonly portrayed on relief sculpture. A close parallel to this figure has been found on a funerary stele from the site of Marash in Southeast Anatolia where it may have represented a young prince.
